The Market Readiness Self Assessment program is a self-guided tool to assist businesses, organizations and communities in preparing to enter tourism for the first time, or to refocus to attract new tourism markets.
Once you have completed the Tourism Inc. Market Readiness Self Assessment workshop and workbook, this website provides you with several resources to improve market readiness in the 13 areas of market readiness self assessment.

- Developed by the Regional Services Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Investment Development Office (IDO), Research Branch, Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corp.(OTMPC), the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund and other tourism organizations.
- Piloted to over 32 communities and 600 participants 2005.
