
Ontario is supporting the tourism economy of the Southern Georgian Bay region with a significant capital investment in Huronia Historical Parks.
The provincial government is investing $1.38 million to improve infrastructure and strengthen the appeal of Huronia Historical Parks as a tourist attraction.
The funding is being used for:
“Huronia Historical Parks is a catalyst for the tourism economy in Southern Georgian Bay. By investing in our tourism infrastructure, our government is keeping Ontario competitive in the global tourism market,” said Tourism Minister Peter Fonseca.
“By maintaining and improving the infrastructure at Huronia Historical Parks, we are helping to ensure the economic prosperity of the surrounding communities that rely on these attractions for tourism revenue,” said Jan Gray, General Manager at Huronia Historical Parks.
