Events such as the Great Ontario Salmon Derby give Ontarians one more reason to “staycation”. It has become an important part of the summer line-up of Ontario festivals and events.
The Great Ontario Salmon Derby is the largest fresh water fishing derby in the world, with an average participation rate of 21,000 to 25,000 anglers. The derby draws anglers from Ontario, Quebec and the north-eastern United States. |
