Given the methodological changes in the new Travel Survey of Residents of Canada (TSRC), 2006 and 2007 data cannot be compared to earlier years. Statistics Canada will restate the data to account for changes in the methodology of the domestic travel survey. This information is expected in spring 2009. Data regarding the U.S. and overseas markets, however, can be compared to earlier years’ data.
